Accessibility
We serve people with disabilities. A website they cannot use would be a contradiction.
Our standard
This site is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is built into the markup and tested by hand. We do not use an accessibility overlay or a toolbar widget, because those do not fix underlying barriers and often introduce new ones.
What that means in practice
- Every page works from the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator that we never remove
- Semantic headings and landmarks, so screen reader users can navigate by structure
- Text and interface colours meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum
- Forms have real labels, plain-language hints, and errors that are announced and linked
- Content reflows to 320 pixels and tolerates 200 percent zoom without loss of function
- Motion respects the reduce-motion setting on your device
- Third-party video is not loaded until you choose to load it
Testing
Automated checks catch roughly a third of accessibility problems. The rest are found by people. This site is tested manually with keyboard navigation and screen reader software in addition to automated tooling.
Known limitations
Content hosted by third parties, including embedded video, is outside our direct control. Where we cannot guarantee accessibility, we tell you before you load it.
Tell us about a barrier
If any part of this site blocks you, we want to hear about it, and we will provide the information you need another way while we fix it. Call a branch during office hours, or use the contact form. Please describe the page and what happened.
